KCG and Bangkok Join Forces to Celebrate the Success of “Light up your passion, Cook up your dream” Year 2 Igniting the Culinary Spirit of the Next-Gen Foodpreneurs

Bangkok – May 2, 2025 – KCG Corporation Public Company Limited, Thailand’s leading provider of premium Western food products for the modern lifestyle, has once again teamed up with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to wrap up the second season of its signature initiative:

“Light up your passion, Cook up your dream – Powered by the Pros”, in a heartfelt closing ceremony at Rattanakosin Room, Bangkok City Hall.

This dynamic program was designed to upskill and reskill emerging food entrepreneurs — giving them the tools they need to thrive in today’s fast-paced business landscape. From February 28 to April 26, 2025, participants dove into an intensive curriculum covering everything from business and marketing to finance and kitchen management — all led by industry pros from across the board.

The results? Nothing short of phenomenal.

All participants (100%) said they want to join again in future seasons, and over 95.5% gave top marks for the content, instructors, and overall program. Even more exciting, each participant walked away having crafted their very own Signature Menu — ready to launch or expand their food business with confidence.

“We see ‘Light up your passion, Cook up your dream’ not just as a workshop, but as a launchpad — a space that sparks real inspiration and gives entrepreneurs the fuel to shape their future with purpose and sustainability,”

said Mr. Tong Dhiranusornkit, Vice Chairman of KCG.

This year’s success was made possible with the strong support of strategic partners, including:

  • SCB (Siam Commercial Bank) – providing practical insights on accounting and financial management
  • Phenix Pratunam, Kitchen Lab & Kitchen Studio – offering professional venues for hands-on training
  • Padi Digital Marketing – teaching the latest in online marketing strategy
  • Peeti PR – guiding participants in brand building and public image

KCG Chef Ambassadors Chef Viewment Leong and Chef Chatchaya Raktakanit also played key roles, sharing exclusive kitchen management know-how and Western culinary techniques that participants could immediately apply in real-life business scenarios.

Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt shared during the closing ceremony:

“This program is more than just a training course — it’s the beginning of something meaningful. It shows how collaboration can drive real impact at the grassroots level and foster sustainable economic growth.”

Even after the program’s end, KCG and BMA continue to support alumni, offering mentorship and ongoing guidance to help them take the next step and build businesses that are not only profitable — but truly sustainable.
