The Cantorel brand, heir to a long cheese tradition, originates from the Cantal region, in the heart of Auvergne (a region in central France that includes four departments: Puy-de-Dôme, Cantal, Haute-Loire and Allier). A farmer from this beautiful region began the manufacture of different cheeses on his farm. He put all his know-how, his heart and delicately cared for the manufacture of all his cheeses. Proud of his work, he wanted to make his cheeses known and decided to market them in local markets under the Cantorel brand, in homage to his native region and to one of his first cheeses, Cantal. Curious by nature and above all passioate about his work, he began a tour of France to discover other manufacturing methods. Today, his cheeses have turned the world around. Its cheesemaking know-how covers all families transforming all kinds of cow, sheep and goat milk.
