KCG Supports Food Innovation

National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office, working in accordance with the Food Innopolis project, and KCG Corporation organized the Food Innovation Contest to amplify the knowledge of food science and technology in undergraduate students.

Announced on February 9, 2018, the prize-winning submission was "Thai green curry sauce on crispy rice cracker" by the Iceberg team from Mahidol University. The award was conferred by Asst. Prof. Dr. Akkharawit Kanjana-Opas, Deputy Secretary General of National Science Technology and Innovation Policy Office and CEO of Food Innopolis. "Tong Dhiranusornkit", President and Chief Executive Officer of KCG Corporation, joined the prize ceremony and presented 4 Waste Not prizes. Teenager actor Thanaphop "Tor" Leerattanakhachon entertained the audience and awarded the Popular Vote Prize.

The winner was presented with the Royal Trophy of Her Royal Highness Princess Soam Sawali, a total of 400,000-baht cash awards and an overseas field trip.
